The Detroit-based Ford Motor Company has been one of the most sought-after automaker brands since 1903. Established by Henry Ford, it has gone on to sweep the world with its immense popularity and trustworthiness amongst its users. Even at the end of 2010, the automobile giant was ranked as the fifth-largest auto company according to its annual sales.
Ford has continued to re-invent and evolve itself over the years because of its high demand with the addition of new Ford cars.
The family car called Ford Focus has been a huge hit in Europe since 2000. With the car having gained a lot of reputation for its extreme passenger comfort, Ford decided to launch its own version of the Focus amongst its new Ford cars meant for North America.
Even though Ford’s Asia market has been relatively small compared to other regions, it is steadily growing. One of the new Ford cars launched for that region is the Ford Figo which is designed exclusively for the Indian market and it is already lapping up a lot of attention.
Owing to environmental concerns, Ford decided to re-launch its mid-size sedan, Ford Fusion, as a gasoline-powered hybrid version called the Ford Fusion Hybrid in its quota of new Ford cars specially made for the American market.
Ford has also kept its SUV, the Ford Mustang in its list of new Ford cars for the year 2011. The latest version has a totally revised engine and empowers the driver to have an easy turning at low speeds.
